Money: Dream or Reality

Posted by Doncrack |

.

After researching work at home opportunities, a startling discovery was made. 95% of Internet Marketers don't achieve their goals. What is the reason for this huge failure rate? Many Newbies simply don't prepare a business plan before jumping into a home-based business. As a result these "entrepreneurs" give up before their Internet Marketing businesses begin making good money.

A well thought out business plan not only includes a description of how you will get traffic to your website and blog, but also how to turn that traffic into sales. The cliche "plan your work and work your plan" is great advice for Newbies & Veterans alike.

The following simple, but effective, "Plan of Action" will result in your work at home opportunity making more sales online and hence, becoming profitable.

1. Consider your customer's needs first. It's crucial to list the benefits the customer will receive as a result of using your product. While features are important, a potential buyer is more interested in the benefits. In other words, what the product will do for them.

For example: A feature of an online shopping mall is that it consists of over 1000 stores. A benefit to the customer who is shopping online for diet or weight loss products might be that there's no possibility of running into friends or co-workers. This in turn increases their comfort level while making these purchases.

Another benefit is that customers may purchase fitness equipment from the convenience of their homes. They not only will save the extra expense of gas since they don't have to drive to a mall, but they also won't have to fight the crowds.

2. Avoid making the mistake of slapping the potential customer in the face with your product. Gradually, build up to asking for the sale. Remember what you felt like when someone stopped you and abruptly insisted that you buy something?

There's a major difference in reviewing the benefits of your product with your customer first and then asking for the sale, as compared to immediately demanding that they buy your product.

Your research should have already resulted in knowing "why" customers buy specific products or services. So be sure to state those selling points up front. Don't make the mistake many Internet Marketers do...sell, sell, sell before the time is right.

Another important factor to keep in mind is that most people surfing the net have already made a buying decision. It's up to you to make them feel good about buying it from you instead of your competitor.

3. Knowledge is power. So do the research and find out which products have the best conversion rates and sell those. You can't go wrong with weight loss and diet products. Of course if your passion happens to be in another product, by all means sell it. However, for long term success there are certain markets in which people will always spend money.

Weight loss and diet products sell well online every day. Golf enthusiasts also spend a small fortune trying to improve their game. Any type of information product that solves a problem is a potential gold mine.

All you have to do is look around you to see what's in demand. Watch your TV and see what products are being advertised! Go to a bookstore and look for the top selling books.

You can also utilize your computer by viewing "Google Trends" to discover popular items that are being searched. It's one of the best search engines in the world. The point I'm trying to make is to sell more online you need to offer products that are in demand now.

4. Provide multiple ways for your customer to pay. PayPal is a good choice because it processes payments quickly and accepts major credit cards too. You can also allow people to use Alert Pay or personal checks, if you so desire. To sell more online you must make it easy for people to do business with you.

5. The final step in turning your dreams into reality and start selling more online is advertise your products in multiple ways. You will never make any sales without quality traffic and to do this you need a well thought out, advertising plan. Use many types of adverstising campaigns, including online and offline.

These five strategic tips for your online business will help you avoid Internet Marketing failure. By following these key points, and working hard on a consistent basis, your chances for earning top dollars as an Affiliate Marketer will greatly increase!   By : Margie Franklin

Beauty Musts For Summer Vacation

Posted by Doncrack |

.

For some people, vacation time is one and the same as summer. Summer vacation time is a time to frolic in the beach; to make the most of enjoying the sand, sea and sun and; to flaunt those gorgeous bikini ready bodies that have been hidden in shirts, jeans and sweaters during the cold or chilly seasons of the year. But before you let your hair down and be a happy-go-lucky summer fool, you must know that summer can also be hazardous for your hair, skin and all other things that you have carefully nurtured for. Here are a few summer beauty pointers that you might consider to make sure that you maintain that grace under the sun's pressure.

First stop is to protect your hair. Repeated exposure to sunshine and to saltwater if you are often hanging in the beach will definitely do some damage to your lovely mane. It could leave it dry, dusty and worst fried, especially if your hair has gone through a number of chemical processes like hair straightening and hair coloring. Your best bet is to wear a good old dependable hat. You can choose from a myriad of styles -- a cap, a straw hat or a bucket one; whatever suits your taste as long it does the job of protecting your hair. There is also hair sunscreen available in the market now. You may want to apply some on your tresses before you step into the sun.

During summer, the spotlight is usually on your skin. Considering that you will mostly be sporting bikinis and shorts, the sun would definitely have its time beaming its rays on your revealed skins. A number of people go ahead and bask in the sun only thinking of getting that perfect tan. Before you do, make sure that your skin is protected. Having a tan may be cool but sunburns are definitely not. Protect your skin with a quality non-greasy sunscreen beforehand and remember to reapply after every two hours. It is also recommended that you put some on right after you swim and perspire to keep your skin shielded from the sun's harmful rays. As for that tan, there are creams that may help you achieve that desired color without having to spend so much time lying under the sun. These creams can also keep the moisture in your skin.

And last but not the least do not forget about your feet. There is no place for your toe-barring heels, closed formal shoes or sandals in the beach. Flip-flops and bare feet rule. As your toes will be as naked as your bikini laden bodies, it is imperative that they should look good. Walking in flip-flops or in bare feet can make your soles rough and coarse. To revive their smoothness, treat them to a thorough and scrupulous scrubbing when you are taking a shower. Lathering on a rich moisturizer afterwards would make them supple. And remember to keep your nails fresh and neat. You can opt to show them off with a neutral polish or go wild and go for bright colors.  By : James Brown

What Is Silk?

Posted by Doncrack |

.

Just as pashmina can come in different forms and colors, so do lovers of pashmina come with all kinds of preferences. Some customers prefer “pure” pashmina, which is 100% pashmina, with no silk blended in. There’s also 70% pashmina and 30% silk which is referred to as pashmina wool. Some pashminas even have 50% pashmina and 50% wool. Some customers prefer the pure pashmina, some find it too rough or course. These varying kinds of pashmina have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Usually, the best-selling ones aren’t even the pure kind, they’re made of 70% wool and 30% silk. While, the true 100% pashmina is lighter, softer and definitely more luxurious. This type is not as strong and durable as the 70% pashmina and 30% silk blend. They also lack the elegance, the sheen and the feel of the drape of the silk which other people prefer.

Silk is filament fiber formed from silkworms, or the Bombyx mori. These worms are not actually worms; they are caterpillars. For thousands of years, humans have mastered the art and science of silk production, which originated in China. Silk is highly valued for its softness, its strength and its insulating properties. Silk is expensive because it is a natural animal product, and producing silk requires an intensive labor process that involves monitoring and feeding the silkworms constantly. Quite a great deal of effort is needed to produce just a small amount of thread.

The Chinese have managed to keep the secret of making silk for centuries, which enabled them to export the rare textile to Europe and dominate the trade routes. Over time, the silkworm eggs were smuggled out. Western production of silk began in Italy in the 13th century. Although the Western world was now involved in silk production, this did not bring the cost down, as the amount of work needed to make silk remained just about the same. It takes about thirty thousand eggs to produce just 12 pounds of silk!

Once raw silk is produced, it can finally be wound into wheels and spun in different type of thread, depending on the use. The crepe is made using multiple strands of silk together in different directions. The tram, on the other hand, uses just one to two threads. Organzine is formed using multiple threads stranded in different directions.

Silk aficionados are familiar with all forms of silk thread. Single threads are used for sheer and fine fabrics while the crepe is used for wrinkly and textured silks. Organzine is used for weaving warp threads and the tram creates the filling, or what’s called the weft. Silk can also be used in knit garments.

Silk is dyed rather easily, and can be used in a variety of garments such as sweaters, scarves and underwear. Even today, thousands of years after the Chinese discovered the beauty of silk, many people still clamor this fabric for its comfort, style and feel. Silk should be taken cared of properly. Dry cleaning is usually best for silk. Never soak, boil or bleach your silk garment. Also, if a silk item should get wet, it should be rolled lightly in a towel. When ironing silk, use a cool iron. This iron should be used more for applying gentle pressure to ease out the creases rather than as means to heat the textile.  By : Brenda Reese

Manifesting Inner Peace

Posted by Doncrack |

"If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other." ~ Mother Teresa

Inner peace is a choice. I choose inner peace. Make this your daily mantra. I choose inner peace. Keep going...

Coach Carolyn chooses inner peace!

“It’s easy to forget that the circumstances of our day-to-day lives are the results of decisions we made yesterday, last month, and last year. We don’t wind up thousands of dollars in debt because of one extravagant purchase, nor do we gain thirty pounds as a result of one decadent dinner. And our relationships certainly don’t end overnight because of a single heated argument. We are where we are because of the decisions we make every day. If we want to better understand how we have created our present-day reality, all we need to do is look at the choices we made and continue to make along the way.”

Every important choice we make is being guided by one of two places: either it is an act of faith or it is an act of fear. Faith opens the door to a new future… while fear keeps us rooted in the past.”

From The Right Questions: Ten Essential Questions to Guide You to an Extraordinary Life by Debbie Ford.

Just for today, think about the choices you are about to make. STOP, TAKE A BREATH, and ASK:

"Am I making this choice based on faith or is it based on fear?"

Choose wisely,
Coach Carolyn
