Buddhist monk and mystic Thich Nhat Hanh once said, "To be loved means to be recognized as existing."

What a truly profound insight. How many of us are walking around in a daze, in a psychic fog, and not really existing.

When we are not being who we were created to be, we are not existing.

When we are not doing what we were called to do, we are not existing.

When we are not experiencing or expressing joy, we are not existing.

The word “exist” comes from the Latin which means “to stand forth,” to exist means to be.

Who are you being? In order to create the life you were truly meant to live, you must first BE. Without being, what's the point of doing and having? Start existing. Before you can be loved, you must first be.

Create inner peace, just BE!

Purposeful Thought for the Weekend

Posted by Doncrack |

Do we mindfully and purposefully practice meditation?

"We should be able to bring the practice of meditation into our daily lives. We need to discuss among ourselves how to do it.

  • Do you practice breathing between phone calls?
  • Do you practice smiling while cutting carrots?
  • Do you practice relaxation after hard hours of work?

These are practical questions. If you know how to apply meditation to dinner time, leisure time, sleeping time, it will penetrate your daily life, and it will also have a tremendous effect on social concerns."

Live mindfully,
